"If
you look good, you feel good" as the saying goes. I believe that
everyone wants to know how to dress properly but is afraid that they do
not have the means to do so. That is not the case. Personally, I've
always considered fashion to be an important aspect of who I am. Because
I came from a low-income family, I learnt early on that I could be
creative by repurposing existing items, changing them, and putting
together new outfits. It is not always necessary to dress in the most
fashionable or expensive clothes. To dress fashionably, all it takes is a
few small changes to create a new, next-level style ? one that emphasizes your originality and makes you feel wonderful.
#1: Mixed Prints
If you're wondering how to dress fashionably, the first thing you should know is that mixing prints is essential when it comes to designing the boldest, most eye-catching outfits. Mastering the art of pattern pairing can be difficult and scary at times. There may appear to be no rules, but you must ensure that the prints complement one other. When done correctly, you will undoubtedly turn heads.
1. Don't go for simple, little prints that are devoid of color. Experiment with more interesting, vibrant, and bold prints that are out of your comfort zone. Not sure if your prints will complement each other? When styling brightly colored designs, utilize complementing hues. Colors that are diametrically opposed to one another, such as black and white, red and green, or blue and yellow. This is a tried-and-true method for achieving the optimum color balance.
2. Experiment with size. The adage "opposites attract" refers to more than just colors. You can use your imagination and good judgement to create prints that are small or vast, complicated or simple, flowery or geometric. When these opposing patterns are combined, they can generate jaw-dropping looks.
3. Stripes and leopard print are considered neutrals. These are simple designs that can be easily matched with bolder or more colorful pieces. Don't be frightened to try new things!
#2: Neck Scarf
I think of neck scarves as a "powerhouse accessory." Silk scarves are having a fashion moment. A silk scarf gives an instant air of sophistication to any ensemble either tied loosely in a knot or wrapped numerous times to produce a "choker effect." What I like about this trend is that it is simple to implement and makes a significant difference in your appearance ? one that exudes confidence and style.
1. Look for patterns, colors, and designs that are one-of-a-kind. When utilized correctly, these one-of-a-kind hues and designs can be the perfect statement piece for any outfit. Even if you're just starting out, a simple design with a pop of color may truly elevate your style.
2. The secret is knowing which ones to buy and how to tie them correctly.
3. You might seek for a little square neck scarf (like a bandana). The ones shaped like rectangles, on the other hand, are easier to work with. Are you new to the scarf game and unsure where to begin? Consider an infinity scarf! These are incredibly simple to wrap around your neck and available in a variety of fun colors and prints.
#3: Belt It
It all comes down to being creative with your accessorizing. Belts are a terrific way to update an outfit and make it look new while also giving dimension to something that may have been thought drab or obsolete. Belts can be worn in a variety of ways with various outfits. Wear it with a flirtatious dress, an over-sized shirt, or even a masculine blazer to create the illusion of an hourglass figure. I've been astounded by how many clothes I've been able to transform simply by adding a belt.

2. Choose the width that is appropriate for your body type. The golden rule when it comes to your waist is to keep it tight.
3. Thrift and vintage stores are two of my favorite places to look for belts. For half the price, you can find spectacular, one-of-a-kind signature and statement-making belts.
#4: Shades On
Nothing says "casual-cool" quite like a great pair of sunglasses. A decent pair of sunglasses is an essential style enhancer and can always be used as a statement-making addition to any ensemble, whether worn on your face, on top of your head, or dangling over the neckline of a blouse.
1. Do you like to wear gold or silver jewellery? Your glasses should complement these accessories, so seek for frames with gold or silver accents. This will help you maintain a consistent appearance.
2. Discover the ideal fit for your facial shape. Whether you prefer classic forms, trendy shapes, or crazy prints, the options are endless.
3. Look for glasses that go with the hues you usually wear. This could refer to the color of the frames, the lenses, or both.
#5: Cool Shoes
One thing is certain: there is no such thing as too many shoes. That being said, shoes that make a statement are a great way to dress up an outfit. Shoes can boost your ensemble from "okay" to "knockout," from cheeky and fun to sporty or modern.
1. Never talk yourself out of "investing" on another pair of shoes, especially if you adore them. They are unquestionably worth your money. They will last, believe me!
2. Always choose the most eye-catching, vibrant shoes that make the most of a statement. You only have one life, so make the most of it!
