Korea's Haunted Locations
For a multitude of reasons, South Korea is a popular tourism destination. It has good and reasonably priced K-beauty items, scrumptious Korean street cuisine, crispy Korean fried chicken, and even extravagantly gorgeous caf?s for a delightful breakfast.

However, that is not the only thing that our nation has to offer. Daredevils who want adventure now have something fresh to look forward to. Here's a list of eight haunted places in Korea, filled with frightening urban tales and accounts of ghostly encounters, that you should visit for an amazing experience.

1. Gonjiam Psychiatric Hospital

This abandoned mental clinic in Gyeonggi Province, about a two-hour bus trip from Seoul, has been closed since 1995. In addition to being listed on CNN's list of the ten worst locations in the world, the facility has also served as the backdrop for the horror film Gonjiam: Haunted Asylum. This, therefore, has drawn a significant number of thrill-seekers to the region.

Rumor has it that several patients in Gonjiam perished in odd circumstances. Some believe the director was likewise mentally ill; he allegedly held patients captive and was responsible for their deaths. The director eventually departed and abandoned the institution.

Despite the fact that the land has been fenced off and CCTV cameras have been installed to prevent trespassers, no one is on site to enforce the limitations. As a result, it has become a popular site for adventurers. Many sources claim that the quickest way in is by the side gate, so keep a look out for that.

There is plenty of light here throughout the day, but the further you proceed down the corridor, the darker it becomes. Because of the massive quantity of messy greenery that blocks the windows and doors, the first level is far scarier than the other floors.

Once inside, you'll notice patient scribbles on the walls, as well as failing medical equipment and furniture. We can't help but wonder what occurred back then, and what caused this institution to close.

Those who have survived say it's difficult to find your way there, and the locals aren't exactly keen to give you directions. Simply put the coordinates "37.362433, 127.33474" into Google Maps to fulfil your ghoulish need to examine the location.

2. Yeongdeok haunted house

The real thing outperforms theme park haunted homes, and you can go to one for free at Yeongdeok haunted house. It lies in Gyeongsang Province, about three hours by KTX from Seoul. Gyeongsang is well-known for its stunning coastline and national parks.

The region has numerous attractions and delicious local cuisine to offer, but if you want to end your day on a high note, a brief visit to this haunted house isn't a terrible idea - if you dare.

The spirits of troops who perished in the Battle of Incheon during the Korean War are claimed to haunt the home. Previous occupants of the residence are alleged to have perished mysteriously.

Visitors to the estate have said that they departed with a pounding headache, while others experienced shivering while walking the grounds. Even seasoned ghost hunters have cautioned people not to go to this place.

3. Yongma Land Abandoned Theme Park

Both visitors and residents are familiar with the Yongma Land Abandoned Theme Park. It has appeared in several K-pop music videos, including Twice's Like OOH-AHH and Crayon Pop's Bar Bar Bar.

Many people come here because of the rustic beauty and good photo opportunities. There is a claim, though, of a small girl whose spirit is still at the theme park after she died on a ride in 2011. As a result of the claimed occurrence, the park was forced to close.

Fortunately, you may visit the theme park without breaking any rules, which is fantastic news for both would-be ghost seekers and photographers.

The entrance price to the theme park is just KRW5,000 (USD4.05). While walking the area and taking photographs is inexpensive, don't be concerned if you come across a disembodied voice of a young girl, as some people have reported hearing it.

11 Chicago's Most Haunted Locations
Chicago is a city steeped in history, and a lot of it. It's hardly surprise, therefore, that it's also a city teeming with spirits - a lot of ghosts.
Here are eleven terrible stories from Chicago's dark past, ranging from victims of the Great Chicago Fire to jilted lovers and lethal masterminds.

Death alley behind James M. Netherlander Theatre

The theatre is currently known as the Netherlander Theatre. Despite boasts that it was "fire-proof," it was renamed the Iroquois Theater in 1903 and became the site of a horrific fire. During the event, the fire doors were sealed, keeping 2,000 people inside. When the fires were extinguished, 602 people were pronounced dead, including 212 children.

The rescue of the bodies took more than five hours, with the alley behind the theatre serving as a makeshift morgue. Today, stories of faint screams, apparitions, and being pulled or pushed by unseen people have been reported in the same location, earning it the moniker "Death Alley."

Regular theatregoers, on the other hand, do not appear to be put off by ghost stories. The Netherlander Theatre's grand architecture, as well as a calendar of premieres and Broadway shows, keep the audiences coming and the ghosts at bay.

H.H. Holmes - Murder Castle

The former home of H.H. Holmes, the country's first serial killer, is located in Chicago's Englewood neighborhood. While the structure has since been replaced by the local post office, it was formerly home to Sherlock Holmes' renowned Murder Castle, where he attracted unsuspecting visitors to Chicago's 1893 World's Fair.

Built in 1893, Holmes enlisted the help of multiple contractors for various sections of the structure to ensure that no one individual, other than himself, knew the entire floor plan. The unusual plan included nowhere-to-go staircases and corridors, strangely sloped tunnels, and windowless chambers, all of which were designed to confound and confine his victims.

It's tough to estimate exactly how many people Homes murdered. While he acknowledged to 27 people, the vast majority of whom were women, some historians estimate the number is in the hundreds. Today, maintenance workers allege weird sightings and intense terror while working in the basement of the new building, where the majority of the killings took place.

Homes terrorized the Englewood neighborhood for for a century, but his legacy remains on. If you want to know more about Holmes, the best-selling novel Devil in the White City is based on his life and experiences.

Couch Mausoleum and Lincoln Park

The most southern point of picture-perfect Throughout the mid-nineteenth century, Lincoln Park served as a sprawling city cemetery. Except for the limestone Couch Memorial mausoleum, which still stands at the south end of Lincoln Park, all of the wooden grave markers were destroyed during the Great Chicago Fire.

In 1998, workers excavating the site discovered the remains of more than 80 people, including one well preserved body contained in a 19th-century iron coffin. More than 12,000 corpses, according to experts, may still be buried in the region today.

Chicago Water Tower

This downtown landmark has a dreadful background. On The Magnificent Mile, this beautiful Gothic Revival structure holds a gigantic water pump meant to draw water from Lake Michigan.

This famed limestone structure was one of the few to survive the Great Chicago Fire of 1871, but it was not without tragedy. According to folklore, when the flames raged, one brave worker stuck behind to keep the pumps running. As the flames crept closer and there was no way out, he retreated to the tower's higher levels and hung himself. According to several tales, a shadowy figure may be seen in the structure's upper level windows.

The City Gallery at Historic Water Tower, a famous venue for innovative photo exhibits, is now housed in the tower. Take a free look inside.

Congress Plaza Hotel

The Congress Plaza Hotel, named the most haunted destination in Illinois by Travel & Leisure, dates back to the 1893 World's Fair.

The opulent hotel was erected to accommodate the flood of travelers during the fair, and it rapidly became the talk of the town. Some allege that gangster Al Capone and his associates ran their headquarters and even committed heinous crimes there, although these accusations have been refuted.

Aside from mafia legends, you could glimpse "Peg Leg Johnny," the spirit of a guy who was brutally murdered in the alley behind the hotel, if you spend the night in the South Tower. His identity, as well as the circumstances surrounding his death, are unknown.

Urban legends surround the North Tower. On the 12th floor, hotel staff noticed the appearance of a lively small child. He is said to be the spirit of a child who, together with his sibling, was thrown from the North Tower by his mother. She, too, was killed by leaping.

The most terrifying, on the other side, occurs in Room 441. Visitors commonly describe seeing a woman's shadow, as well as objects in the room moving or lights going on and off at random. The room is also supposed to be the inspiration for Stephen King's horror story 1408, which is about a haunted hotel room.

OLD SCHOOL LOVE
When it comes to approaching a potential life mate, everything is silver-plated and spoon-fed to today's youth, from swiping right on her many selfies to double tapping on her Instafeed.

Looking at someone's face, like it, sending a DM, giggling-flirting-blushing, and an hour later, you're both Facebook friends and/or on your Whatsapp list.
Then there's the fast-paced world of "contemporary dating," where there's a lot of pressure to wow the other person with clever one-liners, enough money for an evening of beer and EDM, or surprise visits with chocolates and flowers.

You've moved on from your 'jaanu' in less than a month (if you're lucky, two to four months later) and begun fishing for the next big fish in the water. Such is love in the 3G era.

The allure of bygone eras
What if we told you that not all relationships begin or finish in this manner?
There are still couples in the city and throughout the world that followed the old-fashioned route, so to speak, and created their 'happily ever after,' showing that one does not need an app to hold on to their real love.
There have been couples who met their spouses in church, putting an almost literal spin on the phrase "brought together in holy marriage," as well as connections formed through exchange programmed in a distant nation and the promise of letters and postcards from across the seas.

They persisted, and their love lived to tell the tale.
Even our generation's youth, who are chided for being obsessed with technology, have had their fair share of traditional romance.
Dates are still conducted in bookstores, with couples walking through the shelves of fiction and bestsellers, muttering beautiful reminiscences of writers who kept their souls up at night.
Cafes are still witness to a reluctant first date of a scared and embarrassed guy waiting for the arrival of the girl he'd been fascinated by for the longest amount of time.

Love will always find a way.
Without a question, convenience has become a term and an absolute necessity of the hour since it allows us to stay in touch with our loved ones no matter where we are. Even still, it's difficult to express the feverish anticipation of a letter from someone so far away that you anxiously await every day.

Sometimes an unanticipated letter finds its way to you, or the postman delivers a package that sends you into a frenzy because a birthday or anniversary is approaching.
Using phones from our homes and instructing them to meet you on this day, at this hour, at that location, and hurrying to your destination, craning your neck in every direction in the hope of spotting them.
You can't box love into a category that you get to click, and you can't expect old love to comprehend what a blue tick on your WhatsApp screen means to you.
After all is said and done, give your love a chance using the methods of yesteryear (or what feels like it).

Leave your phone at home and try to focus on your partner's day.
Turn off your data pack and see how the individual in front of you smiles and appears to be interested in what you have to say.
If it becomes too much, consider sending the long-forgotten SMS once in a while to let people know how much you miss or think of them.
Not only will it be a lovely surprise, but you will also be making someone's day.

A plethora of ideas
Why not attempt the classic 'flowers-and-candy' trick while you're at it?
Maybe a surprise delivery of muffins on the entryway, or a random note telling them what you admire about them.
It may appear to be the worst idea on the planet at first sight, but why not listen to the stories your parents or grandparents have to teach you about love?
We've all been subjected to unpleasant lectures that begin with 'back in our day' or 'when I was your age,' exactly when we don't want to hear them preach.
Perhaps you can listen to some of those stories about how the concept of love was very different back then.
Their proposals will definitely be as unexpected as they come, and your significant other may be in for a great surprise if you put them into action right away.
Talk about the golden period of love films and novels; Romeo-Juliet wasn't a social networking connection, was it?

The ideal pairing

After everything is said and done, none of the above-mentioned love concepts must be your song.
Understandably, it is hard to live in today's society without relying on the various modes of communication available to us in order to keep connected to one another.
If you think about youthful love, you might opt to grin at the heart-shaped cream in your coffee the next time rather than discard it coldly.

HOW TO REACT IF SOMEONE OFFENDS YOU
In different situations, each of us reacts differently. Let's talk about how to deal with 'insults' today. Have you ever been the target of a slanderous remark? Isn't that a depressing thought?

Let us begin with some introspection: what do YOU do when you are insulted? Do you respond by insulting the individual? Or do you burst out crying? Or do you simply leave the situation and avoid the person who insulted you? Okay, it's self-evident that those who insult you are negative, isn't it?

Why do you believe they're mocking you? Someone will most likely insult you for one of three reasons. The first is a sense of unease. Some people are currently experiencing feelings of insecurity. They feel the need to have control over everything because they don't feel good about themselves, and the only way to gain this control is to bring others down. As a result, insecure people will always insult or make disparaging remarks about you.

The second reason someone might mock or insult you is that they are envious of you. That's correct! One of the most obvious reasons for someone mocking or ridiculing you is jealousy. People who are envious believe they are not given enough credit for their efforts, which is why they seek to bring you down. For example, if you have a coworker and your boss prefers you to him due to your efficiency, your coworker may end up mocking the way you work or how you delivered your presentation. He's just envious of you, which explains his actions.

The third reason some people would insult you is because they are unaware of your disability. People are frequently unaware of how their comments affect others because they do not realize the person to whom their comments are directed has a genuine problem. For example, at school, there is a student who struggles with his or her speech. He most likely stammers or stutters. He has a valid problem, but his classmates may not recognize it. Because they do not fully comprehend this, they may mock him without fully comprehending the implications.

The goal of this blog is to share my own experiences in the hope that they may be beneficial to many of you. Let us look at what we do when we are embarrassed. It's better to answer to an insult than to react to it. As a result, you should respond gently at first. That's correct, you read that correctly. We've all witnessed negative people try to take control of a situation, and your angry or hurt reaction makes them happy. Right? The most essential thing you can do is keep your calm, recognize that you are not the only one they are playing pranks on, and, most importantly, recognize that you will never be able to change their personality.

This is not to imply you should remain mute and allow them to speak whenever they want. You must communicate with them, but not in their language because you are not one of them. In reality, I feel that delivering this message makes sense in the workplace ? for example, in the situation we discussed with the coworker; in this case, sending a strong message is critical in order to avoid such events in the future. Remember, no one will bother you if you refuse to take it. On the contrary, sometimes ignoring an insult is the smartest and wisest thing to do.

You can disregard an insult if you don't want the person who insulted you to feel as if they have harmed you in any way. So, by ignoring the insult, you're telling the individual, "Look, I'm not bothered by it." You may argue that it is difficult to disregard an insult. Yes, you are accurate. You may, however, ignore an insult by changing the subject of the discussion and talking about something completely different, or you can simply leave the situation.

The second thing you should know is that you must report insults on a frequent basis. Please be aware that insulting someone based on their gender, physical appearance, sexual orientation, religion, or handicap is unlawful. This individual is not acting legally, and it is your right as a victim to report such behavior. There are now anti-harassment sections in schools and workplaces that will truly listen to your case and take the necessary steps to ensure that you never have to endure the insults again. There will always be people who wish to bring you down, but it is up to you to stay strong and calm in the face of their attempts.

This Year's Diwali Makeup Looks You Should Try!
Diwali is just around the corner, which means a slew of pujas, family gatherings, and parties. While you may have planned your outfits for all five days, we're guessing you haven't thought much about your makeup. With so many festivities planned, why not switch up your Diwali makeup for looks that will leave you looking stunning and feeling glamorous? Whether you're a makeup pro or a novice, we've got five Diwali makeup looks that will highlight your personality and allow your true self to shine. Because makeup brings out the best in you and changes your mood, you can mix and match each Diwali makeup look to steal the show.

Diwali reminds me of all the wonderful memories I have from my childhood, when we would all get together, burn firecrackers, eat delicious food, and then get dressed up for all the parties and get-togethers. I bought a few fuchsia and blue outfits for the festival this time and had no idea what makeup to wear. I kept thinking about the old gold, but I also wanted something bright to contrast with it. That's when the idea of combining plum and gold for the eyes came to me. Makeup artists say that if you have well-made-up eyes, you've already won half the battle. This look will be completed with a magenta or pink lip colour and bronzer.

1. Cover your eyes with concealer or a primer of your choice, whichever works best for you. Maybelline Dream Lumi Touch Highlighting Concealer was applied to the under eye area to conceal as well as add a subtle highlighting touch.

2. I applied the Revlon Colorstay Shadow Links Eyeshadow in Plum, which is slightly less pigmented, to my crease area with the Zoeva 234 brush, covering only two-thirds of it. I then blended the colour into the upper portion of the crease with the 227 brush to achieve a soft diffused look.

3. I applied Rebel (a dark plum) from the Sleek Divine Palette Bad Girl to the outer V and half of the eyelid with the Zoeva 231 pencil brush. Apply with caution because you don't want to go overboard. Begin with a small amount and build up the pigmentation gradually.

4. I then applied the Coloressence Pearl Effect Eye Shadow Pencil ? Antique Gold to the rest of my eyelids to create a base. I wanted the gold to stand out, so I used a gold base to highlight it.

5. Using the Colorbar Brush, I applied the Tuskan Gold eyeshadow to the top of the eyelid, where the golden base had been applied. I then blended the two colours together in a light back and forth motion with the Zoeva 227. This is the crucial step in which you must blend the colours properly without completely blending them.

6. Using the Zoeva 322, I added a layer by lightly lining the eyelid with black eyeshadow. On the lower lashes, I used the Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil Navy Blue and smudged it with the same brush.

7. Finally, I highlighted my brow bone with a thin layer of highlighting concealer and a white eye pencil. I filled in the brows with a soft brown eyeshadow and coated the eyelashes with three coats of Maybelline Volume' Express the Falsies Mascara.
Finally, here's a look for Diwali eye makeup.

10 Surprising Indian Greets

Are you an American Indian? Have you ever visited India? Are you considering a vacation to India? When we travel to a new location, the first thing that comes to mind is the language. What should I say if I happen to bump into someone over there? How should I welcome others? When I meet individuals outside of India, they usually welcome me with Namaste. But did you know that there are numerous more ways to greet visitors in India?

The greetings are the first thing you want to know about any venue. It is also the first item you present to others while travelling or meeting people from other countries.
Every nation has its unique welcome style; for example, in Italy, Spain, and Portugal, you kiss on both cheeks, but in the United States, a handshake, fist bump, hug, or wave suffices. When people learn you're Indian, they'll fold their hands and greet you with the greeting Namaste. The most common greeting in India is namaste.

However, culture and language change as one travels 50-100 kilometres in India. India is a diverse country with numerous languages spoken and cultures to discover. In my opinion, one life is insufficient for a normal human being to learn everything there is to know about Indian culture and languages. Of course, there are exceptions.

Surprising Ways to Greet in India

When everything changes, how can we expect the same greetings in India? Here is a list of several methods to welcome someone in India.

1. Stand up, press your palms together, and say Namaste!

Namaste with a bow is a common and profound method to greet people across most of India. Namaste, Namskar, Namaskaram, Namaskara, and Namaskaramu are all synonyms for the same thing. All of these suggest that I am kneeling to the divine inside you. In India, we value our elders the greatest, thus you must first meet with them to express your gratitude. It would be the cherry on top if you could greet folks with a smile. Remember to stand up while welcoming others.

2. Are you meeting a Hindu who speaks Hindi ? Say, Ram Ram Ji!

Ram Ram Ji is a common greeting in the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Haryana.
Sita Ram, in some parts of Bihar and Jharkhand, it is Jai Siya Ram.

Vishnu's seventh incarnation is Shri Ram, Rama, or Ramachandra. By chanting Ram Ram, you are pronouncing God's name and encouraging others to follow in his footsteps.

3. When you are in Gujarat and greeting a Hindu ? Say, Jai Shri Krishna!

If you visit Gujarat, meet a Gujarati family, or watch Binge content representing Gujarati culture, you will notice that Gujaratis greet each other with the phrase Jai Shri Krishna.

The phrase "Jai Shri Krishna" represents Lord Krisna's triumph. It is said to sing God's name, express gratitude to Lord Krishna, and urge everyone to believe in God.

4. Say Radhe Radhe ? When traveling to Braj Bhoomi

Radha is the Braj queen (Radha Raani), and it is believed that meeting Lord Krishna necessitates going through Radha Raani. Simply repeat Radhe Radhe to everyone in Vrindavan, Mathura, Gokul, and Braj Bhoomi.

5. When you are in Punjab, say, Sat Sri Akaal

When you visit Punjab or meet a Punjabi family, greet them with Sat Sri Akaal. Jo Bole So Nihal, Sat Sri Akal, the second half of the Sikh Clarion cry, is performed. Guru Gobind Singh, the tenth Guru, gave the Clarion scream, which means "Shout Aloud in Ecstasy, Truth is the Ultimate God."

6. Khamma Ghani ? Rajasthan

Rajasthan offers some amazing sites to see as well as a unique culture. The Royal Rajasthan, as it is called, has a distinct welcoming manner for tourists. When people meet and greet one another in this town, they say Khamma Ghani.

Because the terms Khamma and Ghani both indicate pleasantries, we mean a lot of greetings when we say Khamma Ghani. It is also spoken in the same manner as Namaste, by pressing our palms together.

Best Footwear To Select
Choosing the appropriate footwear for a dress is difficult since it must compliment both the dress and the color scheme. Every girl's problem is that she is confused about which footwear to wear with dresses since the wrong combination may make her feel depressed and make her look to be a grandmother, which is not something that everyone likes.

So now we'll see some shoe-selection tips, and they'll continue with the issue of matching the correct footwear with clothes. When selecting shoes, consider the ensemble for which you are purchasing the shoes. Choose shoes that are one shade darker than your outfit. Rather of flats, invest in high-quality leather shoes, and be sure you get the right size. Take a walk around and check everything out. Using footwear coupons, you may save money on branded footwear.

For your clothing, use contrasting colors over matching ones. Ankle straps should be avoided if your legs are short. For casual wear, select shoes from the women's footwear category. Custom orthotics and shoes with built-in cushioning are preferable since they are tools for making your shoes more comfortable.

Black shoes are preferred because they may be worn with any outfit. When your attire is simple, they like trendy shoes; when it is highly fashionable, they prefer plain shoes.

1. Peep-Toes

Choose peep toes if you're wearing a short or knee-length dress and want to show off your bare legs. Flat peep toes look great with opaque leggings or jeggings that reach the hip.

2. Stilleto

Wear stiletto heels with pencil skirts and skinny pants to make your legs look thinner and more attractive. This looks good in a number of contexts, such as casual, formal, and party wear.

3. Arty Sandals

This outfit goes well with trousers, capris, and a-line skirts. This is advantageous if you prefer a more casual appearance over a trendy one. They are ideal if you want to stroll comfortably. Don't settle for mundane models; instead, strive for something beautiful and contemporary.

4. Loafers

This conveys a preppy image; nevertheless, if you want to appear youthful, avoid wearing it with preppy clothes. Flevos can be purchased due of its fashionable look, which includes metallic or printed motifs. Ballerinas and loafers are a hidden blessing, so treat yourself to a pair from Tory Burch or Gucci. It is feasible to refer to it as women's casual dress shoes that are simple and comfortable to wear.

5. Pumps

Pumps provide a fashionable touch to every ensemble. Trench coats or jackets may be worn with skinny jeans and shoes to dress up your style. Wear pantsuits, pencil skirts, or short dresses with or without translucent stocking suits with this footwear.

6. Boots

It's not as though boots are just appropriate for the winter; they provide a humorous touch to the fall season. Ankle and knee boots look best with jeans, short or long skirts, a cloak, or a thin one.

7. Low Or Kitten Heels

Low heels are a more adaptable alternative since they appear acceptable, feminine, and ideal for the office.
If you have a love-hate relationship with heels, tiny heels will satisfy you by giving you a complex look with your workplace attire. This is your rescuer and offers you a more elevated appearance.

8. Low Heeled Sandals

Attire them with almost any skirt or pant length, and for a little black dress or evening wear, try strappy high heeled shoes.

Always choose something that complements your style, comfort, and height, as well as the height of your shoes. If you're going on a date, take notice of their heights since you'll have to compromise if he's shorter than you, and if you're short, go for high heels to balance.

Allow your fingers to work their magic on short haircuts for wavy hair.
Wavy short hair is the most popular female hairstyle, and it is also one of the easiest to style. It does not have the same problems as curly hair and does not seem as monotonous as straight hair. So, assuming that all of this is already in place, what should be done with it? Surprisingly, this hair type lends itself to a wide range of styles. Short hairstyles for wavy hair may be achieved with a few setting sprays and your fingers. Put some setting spray on your hair and finger comb it to achieve great hairstyles for short wavy hair!

Migraines are by far the most common form of headache we see in our clinic, and they are the most prevalent source of incapacitating, recurrent headache pain.

SYMPTOMS

Individual migraines range in severity from mild to severe, and are frequently accompanied by a throbbing or pounding sensation. Although they are usually one-sided, they can appear anywhere on the head, neck, and face ? or all over. They are often linked with sensitivity to light, noise, and/or odours at their worst. One of the most prevalent symptoms is nausea, which increases with activity and frequently leads in patient impairment. Migraines are similar to alcohol-related hangovers in many ways.

Migraine pain can be felt in the face, where it might be confused with sinus headache, or in the neck, where it can be confused with arthritis or muscular spasm. Migraine diagnosis is complicated by the fact that the headaches may be accompanied by other "sinus-like" symptoms such as watery eyes, nasal congestion, and a sensation of face pressure. The majority of individuals who believe they have a sinus headache actually have migraines.

An aura, a transient neurological condition that slowly increases and then generally fades just as the pain begins, may precede migraine headache symptoms in up to 25% of individuals. While visual disturbances (flashing lights, zigzags, blind spots) are the most frequent kind of migraine aura, many patients also suffer numbness, disorientation, difficulty speaking, vertigo (spinning dizziness), and other stroke-like neurological symptoms. Auras may occur in some people who do not have headaches.

HOW PREVALENT ARE MIGRAINES?

Migraines afflict around three times more women than males and may impact more than 12% of the adult population in the United States. Migraines are typically passed down through families and can begin as early as elementary school, but most commonly in early adulthood. They usually fade away later in life, but they can occur at any moment. Migraines are the most frequent underlying cause of debilitating chronic, daily headache pain and the most prevalent cause of recurrent, disabling headache pain. While migraines are the most common cause for patients to see a neurologist, the majority of instances are treated by general care physicians.

WHAT TRIGGERS A MIGRAINE?
1. Alcohol
2. Weather changes
3. Hunger
4. Lack of sleep
5. Dehydration
6. Menstruation

HOW ARE MIGRAINE DIAGNOSED?
Despite their severe symptoms, migraines are virtually seldom the result of an underlying issue that may be detected by testing, including brain MRIs. Many doctors do not advocate brain imaging, even in severe situations, if the patient's symptoms are characteristic of migraines and a complete neurological evaluation is normal.

There are exceedingly uncommon families that suffer from migraines as a consequence of a single genetic mutation in one of four known genes, a disease known as familial hemiplegic migraine. For the great majority of patients, there are no genetic testing available. Because the illness cannot be identified by a scan or blood test, the diagnosis is "clinical," which means it is made by an expert physician.

HOW ARE MIGRAINES TREATED?
Migraines that are severe, frequent, or accompanied by neurological symptoms are best managed prophylactically, often with a combination of dietary modifications, lifestyle changes, vitamins, and daily prescription medicines. The bulk of our greatest preventative medications are also used for other medical objectives; the majority of them are blood pressure meds, antidepressants, or epilepsy treatments. Individual headache episodes are best treated as soon as possible, frequently with one or more of the following medications: triptans, nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory medicines (NSAIDs), anti-emetics (anti-nausea), and, in rare cases, opioids or steroids.

Migraines usually last a few hours to a few days and react favourably to certain therapies. However, in other individuals, the migraine is extremely intense and long-lasting ? and may even become chronic, recurring on a weekly, monthly, or even yearly basis. Intermittent migraines, if mismanaged or ignored, can basically develop into a persistent daily headache, with ongoing and smouldering symptoms that occasionally erupt into a "full-blown" migraine. This is a very tough problem to cure.

Other individuals may experience more frequent headaches as a result of overuse of their short-acting headache medicines. See Medication Overuse Headache for more information. While migraines are classified as primary headaches since there is no known underlying cause, they are linked to an increased risk of stroke, brain scarring as observed on MRI scans, a heart defect known as a patent foramen ovale (PFO), and other medical problems.

Mental Health Awareness 2021
May 2021 is Mental Health Awareness Month, and it is a time to raise awareness and take action to combat the stigma associated with mental health issues. Millions of individuals in the United States live with a mental disease, with a total of 51.5 million in 2019. 1 But we don't know how many people genuinely "live" with their mental illness.

Nonetheless, mental illnesses have been stigmatised by the general population for as long as they have existed. Mental Health Awareness Month focuses on increasing awareness of mental disorders as genuine chronic diseases ? ones that are frequently not curable, only managed, and are not the fault of the sufferers ? as well as destigmatizing these chronic health problems.

If you or a loved one is suffering from a mental illness, keep in mind that it is not your fault and that you are not alone. If you are suffering from addiction in addition to your mental illness, contact Hotel California by the Sea for additional information on how to receive help for addiction and co-occurring mental health issues, or where to obtain personalised mental health therapy.

Before we get into how you can get involved in Mental Health Awareness Month, let's define what mental disorders are - and what they aren't.

What Are Mental Illnesses?

Mental diseases, as defined by the Centers for Disease Control, are "conditions that impair a person's thinking, emotion, mood, or behaviour, such as depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, or schizophrenia." Mental disorders are chronic ailments that might relapse and are generally not "curable" in the traditional meaning of the word. Although the exact origin of mental disease is unknown, contributing variables such as genetics and co-occurring mental health problems may play a role in the development of mental illnesses.

Mental diseases are not the sufferer's fault, they cannot be addressed with a single self-help book or lecture, and they do not discriminate based on race, religion, culture, ethnicity, gender, or sexual orientation.

While some mental disorders may only last a short time or appear at times of extreme stress or sickness, others are chronic and long-lasting. Some people may find intermittent respite from their mental disease, teetering on the brink of "relapse" in mental symptoms, whilst others are unable to climb out of the depths of mental illness and sustain remission for any length of time.

Furthermore, people might have various mental health disorders at the same time, such as sadness and anxiety. There are about 200 different forms of mental disorders, however the following are the most common:
1. Anxiety problems (including generalised anxiety disorder, panic disorder, and more).
2. Mood imbalances (such as bipolar disorder or depression).
3. Disorders of eating (including anorexia, binge eating disorder, buliimia, or EDNOS).
4. Personality flaws (such as borderline personality disorder or narcissistic personality disorder).
5. Substance abuse problems (sometimes referred to as addiction to alcohol or other drugs).
6. Disorders of the mind (like schizophrenia).

Take care of yourself and put your mental health first. Start with yourself if you're searching for one of the greatest ways to help a campaign to increase awareness and prioritise mental health! You might want to start getting enough sleep each night (which can help your mental health), paying attention to your food and nutrition, exercising, and practising mindfulness. There are several more methods to care for your mental health, but here are a few good places to start.

Learn more about mental disorders. Another fantastic approach to raise awareness about mental disorders is to improve your OWN mental health understanding. To obtain reliable information on mental health problems and their consequences on people and society as a whole, go to websites such as the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention or the National Institute on Mental Health.

Donate to mental health-related organisations or causes. If you don't have the time or money to volunteer, or if you want to do more than just educate yourself about mental diseases, give to a charity that strives to fund ongoing education, research, and stigmatisation of mental health concerns.

USE SOCIAL MEDIA TO SHARE! If you've read about mental diseases or seen some incredible visual depictions of the causes and effects of mental health disorders, or just awareness-raising information, please share it! We live in a society where knowledge is shared instantly, so use your capacity to publish material on a platform where others may see it to educate your audience on mental disorders.

Participate in a discussion on mental disorders and clear the air. Participate in little and bigger talks regarding mental health problems once you've been sufficiently educated about them. If you hear stigmatising or victim-blaming language, speak out for global suffering by correcting the record on the reality of mental disorders.

Natural Face Cleansers

Photo by Aiony Haust on Unsplash

You don't need expensive cosmetics to have smoother, better skin. Instead, try one of these easy natural facial cleanser recipes.

1. Coconut Oil Face Cleanser

Coconut oil can remove any shine that emerges at the end of the day without depleting your skin of its natural oils. According to Joshua Zeichner, MD, director of cosmetic and clinical research in dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City, its unique combination of natural fats, including linoleic acid (which helps fight acne) and lauric acid (which is hydrating and antimicrobial), makes it useful in treating the skin. It works well as a moisturiser and is beneficial for atopic dermatitis. However, unless you know your face can take it, avoid using coconut oil if you have acne-prone skin.

Try this: Sherri at Overthrow Martha advises gently massaging a dollop of coconut oil (about the size of a quarter) onto your face for approximately 30 seconds. Then, press a warm cloth on your face to open your pores. Wait 15 to 30 seconds before removing the oil with a washcloth. Here are some more beneficial uses for coconut oil.

2. Apple Cider Vinegar Face Cleanser

Apple cider vinegar has a long history of use in cosmetic products. In fact, Cleopatra is supposed to have used it to wash her face. Malic acid, which is comparable to alpha-hydroxy acid and exfoliates the skin, is a crucial ingredient,? explains Lian Mack, MD, assistant clinical professor of dermatology at Mount Sinai Hospital in New York City. This, in turn, increases cell turnover, restores the skin's pH levels, cleanses the skin, and aids in the clearing of blocked pores and the prevention of acne. A word of caution: apple cider vinegar should always be diluted and should never be applied straight to the skin.

Try this: Beth of Tasty Yummies advises mixing 1 part apple cider vinegar with 2 parts water and shaking thoroughly to produce a natural toner. Apply with a cotton ball or pad on a clean face. After your skin has dried, use your regular daily moisturiser. (How does face toner help your skin care routine? Figure it out.)

3. Honey and Lemon Face Cleanser

Honey and lemon work together to form a natural moisturiser and antibacterial, making them an ideal soothing and cleansing combination for a natural face cleanser. According to Sejal Shah, MD, a dermatologist in New York City, honey is naturally antimicrobial and high in antioxidants, which have been found to prevent acne and delay the ageing process of the skin. Honey also improves the appearance of the skin. ?Lemon juice is frequently suggested in DIY skin care because it contains vitamin C, which is an excellent antioxidant,? Dr. Shah explains. ?It has antibacterial and astringent effects as well.?

Jessica Siefert of LiveGlam recommends combining 1 tbsp organic honey with the juice of half a lemon. Apply the mask to your face and neck, avoiding the region around your eyes. Wait 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water, followed by cold water. Allow to air dry. Learn about the extra health and aesthetic advantages of honey.

4. Yogurt Face Cleanser

According to Judith Hellman, MD, associate clinical professor of dermatology at Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York City, yoghurt is an excellent natural face cleanser that helps to renew and soften the skin. Yogurt contains protein and lactic acid. collaborate to aid with skin detoxification: Applying lactic acid on a regular basis enables your skin to exfoliate dead cells, and protein tightens pores, reduces the appearance of fine wrinkles, and hydrates.

2 tablespoons plain, full-fat Greek yoghurt plus 1 to 2 teaspoons honey (Optional extras: a squeeze of lemon or a handful of blueberries.) Apply to your face and leave it on for 10 to 15 minutes. Using a gentle, moist washcloth, wipe away the residue.

Massage a thin layer of plain yoghurt over your clean skin with your hands to help remove any debris or makeup. Leave the yoghurt on for 20 minutes before rinsing with warm water.

5. Olive Oil Face Cleanser

This main component can also be used to nourish your face! According to Dr. Hellman, olive oil is a wonderful natural moisturiser for nourishing and softening skin, and its antioxidants and healthy fats may also help decrease free radicals to soothe irritated or burnt skin.

Try this tip from the YouBeauty blog: Combine one egg yolk, one tablespoon of honey, one tablespoon of olive oil, and a few drops of lemon juice in a mixing bowl. Apply to a clean face for 5 to 10 minutes before rinsing. Learn more about the health and aesthetic advantages of olive oil.

Adventure Tourism in India

There are currently many different forms of tourism, such as cultural tourism, religious tourism, and so on. Among them all, adventure tourism is currently emerging as a specialty tourism in which tourists are expected to participate in one or more types of experiences in distant and wild places. Adventure tourism includes activities such as mountaineering, hiking, jungle safaris, bungee jumping, white water rafting, scuba diving, rock climbing, and so on.

Scope for Adventure Tours in India

India, being a country with a diverse natural environment in terms of topography, flora, and wildlife, provides enough opportunity for a wide range of adventurous activities. Furthermore, with the advancement of technology and availability to expert courses in numerous activities, a broad range of experiences may now be given to both Indian and foreign visitors in India. India has a lengthy shoreline on three sides, which is endowed with magnificent beaches and a plethora of undiscovered islands. This has made a variety of scuba diving and other underwater exploration activities possible. India is also endowed with stunning mountain and hill ranges such as the Himalayas, Aravalli, Sahyadri, and Western Ghats, which have given rise to a plethora of mountaineering, hiking, rock climbing, and other adventure sports.

Some types of adventures and where to go

1. Scuba Diving

There are several options for experiencing the excitement and beauty of India's underwater natural environment, which is buried beneath the enigmatic horizons of the sea attractive beaches and shoreline in India with crystal clean seas ideal for this type of activities There are several options for scuba diving and snorkelling for water enthusiasts. Though these activities may be a little pricey due to the need for specific equipment such as a wet suit, fins, oxygen tank, mask, snorkel, a knife, a pair of leather or canvas gloves, underwater lamps for night time diving, a dive watch, and so on. The delight of seeing the wonderfully coloured corals, a huge variety of gorgeous fish, and other rich underwater flora and fauna in their natural home is unrivalled, so put on your gear and go.

2. Paragliding

I'm sure everyone has fantasised about becoming a bird at some point in their lives, or just wished to extend his hands like wings and soar high into the sky! If you find yourself thinking about this frequently, paragliding is the activity for you. Paragliding, a hybrid of skydiving and hand gliding, is the most effective method to overcome your fear of heights. It's the closest you'll get to soaring free in the air like a bird, feeling the breeze in your hair and face, and being fully at one with nature. Paragliding launch places are often on the gentle slopes of hill sides. Because paragliders do not have to resist the rigours of free fall like skydivers, they are more lighter and more manoeuvrable. Because paragliders do not have to endure the pressures of free fall like skydivers, their structures are considerably lighter and aerodynamic, and they are intended to go up rather than down. A paraglider is a non-motorized inflatable wing that is launched by foot. It is composed of rip-stop nylon or high stress polyester fabric and is very easy to transport, launch, and land. Although it may appear hazardous, the activity is very risk-free when all safety precautions are carefully followed. Because most paragliding instructors are highly qualified professionals, the activity is quite safe.

3. Parasailing

This is another type of aerial sport that is comparable to paragliding in many respects. The primary difference between the two is that in paragliding, you fly free, but in parasailing, you are linked to a long rope that is tied to a vehicle that launches you into the air. This sport is similar to flying a kite in that you transform into a human kite that swings hundreds of feet in the air. This is a more popular beach activity in which a speedboat is used to tie the 300-foot long rope to which you are linked at one end by the parasail harness. When the boat sets off in the water, the parasailor takes one or two steps before being pulled into the air, with the parasail rising up behind him. The activity may be played not only on beaches, but also on simple tablelands and hills, as well as with therope attached to a vehicle.

4. Trekking

India has the most amazing trekking options, which are the greatest and most lovely method to acquire a feel for the land. From north to south and east to west, India has a plethora of magnificent hiking routes, ranging from very easy ones that even little children can do to really difficult ones. Trekking in India is a memorable experience since it not only allows you to discover untouched environment but also puts you in close contact with the nation and its people. It transports you to magnificent landscapes and charming communities where time seems to stand still. India's numerous mountain and hill ranges provide magnificent and enthralling hiking trails. So go for it and enjoy the thrill of pure adventure in India among the most gorgeous sites on the planet.

5. Wildlife Safaris

One-of-a-kind, mysterious, and enthralling - India encompasses a wide range of geographical terrains that serve as a sanctuary for a wide range of animals and birds. There are specially defined places such as national parks and wildlife sanctuaries to conserve wild animals while also allowing tourists to observe them in their natural environment. As a result, wildlife viewing is one of the country's most popular and top tourism activities in India. Sighting a tiger stalking through underbrush, observing elephants and rhinos through thick grass, spotting deer, and other such activities are highly fun and thrilling. In certain parks, the safari is also on an elephant's back through thick forests; this is just an amazing and exhilarating experience.

Domestic tourism recovery post-Corona virus

Domestic tourism will be the first symptom of the 2020 Coronavirus pandemic, while large-scale travel will be one of the last aspects of normal society to recover. With lockdown and social distance restrictions loosening throughout the world, domestic tourism is poised to play an important part in the reconstruction of economies and serve as an indication of a nation's health and security.

However, the rise will occur at different rates throughout the world, resulting in uneven recovery of domestic tourism. Some countries' economies may swiftly recover, while others will struggle for a longer period of time.

What is most likely is that visitors' attitudes, motivations, and tastes will have altered for the foreseeable future, if not forever.

The goal for those property owners who make it past the limitations is simple: grab as much domestic business as they can in whichever way they can. Some countries, such as Australia and New Zealand, which have fought the illness effectively, might rebound considerably, with many travellers planning vacations while the country is under lockdown. In fact, neighbouring countries are discussing travel accords that would allow travellers to roam freely.

What is domestic travel?

Domestic travel is defined as a trip in which both the departure and arrival points are in the same nation. This can encompass any type of travel, including pleasure, business, and even medical.
Domestic travel can also be done by any method of transportation, as long as it starts and finishes in the same nation.
Overnight excursions will clearly be of interest to hoteliers, although domestic travel does not have to include an overnight stay.

Domestic tourism definition

Domestic tourism is similar to domestic travel, except that it exclusively includes individuals travelling for pleasure. Consider sightseers, day-trippers, families, love partners, and so on.

As most properties recover from COVID-19, this will be an important market for them. Countries with historically high levels of domestic tourism, such as the United States, France, and Germany, will need to rely on it more than ever to get back on their feet.

What is local or regional travel?

Local and regional travel can be viewed in two ways.
One is to discuss individuals exploring their own "backyards," visiting areas near their own city and interacting with their own local culture. This type of vacation is similar to a "staycation."
Another way to explain it is for visitors to engage honestly with the local culture of the location they are visiting. This applies to visitors who wish to "live like a native" while on vacation.

What is interstate travel?

Interstate travel occurs when a traveller begins their journey in one state and ends up in another, crossing state borders. Their journey may be for any cause, just like any other domestic excursion. The length of an interstate traveler's stay will be determined by the sort of journey they take.
Families are more inclined to remain for a week or longer, but business travellers are less certain. Depending on their objective, they may be in and out in a single day or stay a long period of time.

Domestic travel for small accommodation providers: What does it mean in the COVID-19 era?

Domestic travel is the lifeline on which the hotel sector is banking for the foreseeable future. Regardless of how successfully COVID-19 is eradicated, international travel is unlikely to return to pre-pandemic levels for some time. Bookings and income will have to be derived from the local market in the short term if small enterprises are to thrive.

Types of domestic trips and holidays

To discover new markets after COVID-19, accommodation firms should first study the various trip kinds that have typically occurred and those that may occur during the economic recovery phase.
The staycation is one that has the potential to be quite popular. A staycation is defined by a traveller taking a break from the hustle and bustle of everyday life to explore their own backyards. These excursions are short, easy, and inexpensive ? the need to combine work and personal commitments makes it more difficult for the typical traveller to take the trip of a lifetime. This is why, for those who are short on time, a brief road trip or even a weekend stay in their own city might be a viable option.
Because foreign travel is limited, travellers may want to renew themselves by taking numerous shorter vacations close to home. It's also an opportunity to discover hidden gems in smaller towns, which may be thrilling.

Ecotourism and socially responsible travel

Ecotourism's main ideas focus around two key concepts: benefit and respect. True ecotourism delivers tangible economic and environmental advantages to the host community while also respecting its traditions, culture, and sociopolitical context. The Thinking Traveller, as an ecotourism-oriented travel business, invests in local economies, engages in conservation initiatives, and supports cultural events. We enhance client awareness, give relevant insights into our locations, and encourage a long-term, sustainable approach to tourism. We are deeply committed to ecotourism not only because it is something we really believe in, but also because we genuinely like our travels.

"Respectful and mutually beneficial tourism has been on my mind recently." This trip reinforced for us the need of being conscious of your travel choices and the direct impact they may have on the environment and the local economy. For us, partnering with The Thinking Traveller was a sound option based on a variety of factors, one of which was their dedication to ecotourism. We appreciate that their villas are in tiny villages or nearby, generally somewhere secluded and surrounded by nature. We really enjoyed spending time with locals, generally families who are enthusiastic about sharing what they love about their home.

The Thinking Traveller invests extensively in their host towns, both physically and financially, in order to bring economic and ecological advantages while respecting the local culture and traditions of its people. This approach to tourism made our stay more meaningful and linked us in unexpected ways." Captain and the Gypsy Kid's Sheree Commerford.

Economic benefits to host communities

The Thinking Traveller's clients stay in privately owned villas, the majority of which are located near or in small towns and villages. Members of the local community construct, renovate, and maintain our villas. Local, mainly family-run craftsmen and artisans work on both the repair of existing rental houses and the construction of new ones. They use locally obtained materials and traditional processes passed down through generations. Our villa employees (maids, chefs, caretakers, gardeners, and pool cleaners) are all locals, as are those who provide external services on our behalf (drivers, boat providers, wineries, masseuses, and so on).

Most of our villas have solar panels for hot water and electricity, and LED lighting (which saves up to 80% on power) is quite popular. Many of them have organic kitchen gardens, orchards, and olive groves (some are even set in organic farms).

As befits the culinary traditions of our destinations, the ingredients utilised by our in-villa chefs are predominantly seasonal and locally sourced. The presence of Thinking Travellers, who shop and eat out in the villages and towns nearest to their villa, benefits shops, restaurants, pubs, gelaterie, and other local businesses as well. All of this supports local economies by providing jobs and assisting companies.

Ecological benefits and sustainability

As a small-scale specialty operator, our influence on the environmental balance of our locations is modest. We actively support and work with a number of local conservation organisations, like the Aeolian Islands Preservation Fund and The Conservation Collective, to raise awareness and promote local efforts (whose members include the Ionian Environment Foundation and the Mallorca Preservation Foundation).

We also urge our villa owners to make their homes as environmentally friendly as possible: solar panels for hot water and electricity, and LED lighting (for an 80 percent decrease in power use) are quite prevalent, and many include organic kitchen gardens, orchards, and olive groves (some are even set in organic farms). This allows visitors to cook with and enjoy nutritious, genuinely zero-kilometer products, while also eliminating packaging and reducing the number of food shopping visits. Similarly, the products utilised by our in-villa chefs are largely seasonal and locally produced or acquired, in keeping with our destinations' culinary heritage.

In our destinations, we cultivate partnerships with like-minded individuals who prioritise ecological in everything that they do. Planeta, our in-villa wine delivery partner in Sicily, was one of the two first wineries in Italy to get SOStain certification. This programme considers not only the adoption of sustainable, ecological farming techniques, but also the well-being of agricultural workers, consumer health, community engagement, and the promotion and development of neighbouring regions.

Raising cultural awareness

One of The Thinking Traveller's fundamental goals is to give in-depth local knowledge to its clients. We have established and will continue to expand our own extensive online destination guides, and our on-the-ground concierge teams (all of whom are either natives or have lived in their designated region for many years) are available to our customers during their stay. Our London crew is also quite knowledgeable about the city. Some are native to our locations, and they all return to them on a regular basis throughout the year, not only to visit and stay at our villas, but also to spend time on the road, seeing cities and beaches.

All of this innate and accumulated knowledge is completely available to our clients. We provide insights into our locations that other travel firms just cannot. We know our locations' hidden delights, tiny pearls, and secret treasures, and we encourage our clients to visit them. We organise genuine, unique encounters with members of local communities, such as cooking classes with a villager, vineyard tours and wine tastings, or PhD-qualified guides to unveil the mysteries of an archaeological site or a historic town.

In addition, we support and promote cultural events in our destinations. In 2018, for example, we collaborated with the organisers of the Paxos Contemporary Art Project. We offer complete, constantly updated lists of "what's on" in our locations on our website, and we give information about local events, festivals, and celebrations in our newsletters.

What is Dark Tourism?

People visit to locations associated with death and tragedy in this type of tourism. Dark places are often ones that remind tourists of human pain or carnage. Though it may seem strange to people all over the world, it is extremely common in a nation like India, which has such a long history. According to some, it is conducted to learn about the past, but for others, it is linked with curiosity to learn about the tales common about that specific location. This type of tourism is sometimes known as "Grief Tourism" or "Black Tourism."

What are the effects of Dark Tourism?

Visitors who visit locations connected with death or disaster experience a negative spectrum of emotions such as terror, dread, depression, grief, revenge, and so on. Visitors' perspectives may differ depending on the reason for their visit. Some may get insights into the site's history and occurrences, while others may view it as a new type of tourism that supplied them with a chunk of information to share with their group.

What are the reasons behind Dark Tourism?

Every tourist has a distinct reason for taking the journey, however in the case of Dark Tourism, these reasons are very unusual but intriguing. Some visitors go to Dark places to commemorate a catastrophe and its aftermath. Dark Tourism might be pursued because of an interest in the human mind. Nostalgia may also be a motivating reason for Dark Tourism, since troops who were participated in a particular battle may struggle to survive in a calm environment. As a result, they are unable to receive pleasure from suffering or distinguish between good and evil. Dark Tourism, for some, makes the imagination concrete by allowing them to view the devastation caused by humanity. Those that are interested in photographing various places are drawn to Dark locales. Some individuals appreciate the notion of Dark Tourism because they want to pay their respects to the deceased. People travel to locations linked with sorrow and catastrophe in order to broaden their understanding. For some, visiting the locations connected with Dark Tourism is motivated by a sense of heritage.

What are the challenges of Dark Tourism?

The most significant problem that Dark Tourism faces is a lack of advertising. Travel companies and operators are unable to give adequate services to Dark Tourists due to a lack of advertising. Due to limited connection, travellers are unable to visit the Dark locations. The image of India as a cultural and regional powerhouse also impedes the growth of Dark Tourism. The Tourism Government does not receive adequate cooperation from the people to develop Dark Tourism and increase Dark Tourist satisfaction. One of the biggest impediments to Dark Tourist is a lack of money for the growth of the tourism sector.

Dark Tourism Sites in India:

India's rich past makes it an ideal destination for Dark Tourists. India is home to a plethora of locations that come under the heading of "Dark Tourism":

Rajasthan's Bhangarh Fort
This fort, located in Rajasthan's Alwar area, was erected in 1573 A.D. by Raja Bhagwant Singh for his younger son Madho Singh. It is often assumed that the fort was cursed by a tantrik priest who fell in love with the royal daughter but was killed. So he attempted to cast a spell on the princess, and when it failed, he cursed the princess, her family, and even the entire hamlet. It is claimed that because the family died, the souls of those who died still wander there.

Rajasthan's Kuldhara: Kuldhara, located 17 kilometres from Jaisalmer, was a wealthy community until the 19th century, when the village, along with the neighbouring 83 villages, inexplicably vanished. Many people from all over the world come here to witness the dark side of Rajasthan and learn about its terrible legends.

Jallianwala Bagh, Amritsar: This is the site of the most depressing and memorable occurrence in Indian history. On April 13, 1919, hundreds of innocent and defenceless people were ruthlessly murdered by the British Army. People come to this location to observe the bullet holes that were produced on that day and are still visible today. These depict the heinous tragedy that occurred that day.

Gujarat's Dumas Beach: This beach, often known as the Devil's Paradise, is located along the Arabian Sea. It is believed that this beach was previously utilised as a cremation site, therefore the shore is coated with black sand that was left over as ashes. Several ghostly phenomena have been seen on this beach at night. Many strange voices, according to neighbouring residents, have also been heard. This location is frequently listed as one of the most haunted in the country.

Goa's Three Kings Church: This haunting church is 15 kilometres from Velsao in Goa. Locals who went for a nighttime walk near the church reported unusual occurrences. The eerie narrative is based on three kings' avarice. It is claimed that they killed each other in order to win control of that land, and their souls now roam the church grounds.

Uttarakhand's Skeleton Lake: Roopkund Lake is a glacial lake at a height of 5,029 metres. This lake is supposed to house the bones of deceased individuals. This lake is usually frozen all year, but when the ice melts, bits of flesh, hair, clothing, jewellery, and other items are discovered surrounding it. This lake is also known as "Mystery Lake" due to its mystical aspect.

Mussoorie's Lambi Dehar Mines: Though Mussoorie is one of India's most picturesque hill stations, it also has a terrifying sight known as The Mine of Death. In 1990, about 50,000 miners died as a result of unsafe mining operations. Nature has now taken over these eerie mines by sprouting trees and plants in the surrounding region as well as the cottages of the employees who used to reside nearby. People bawling at night, as well as other paranormal phenomena, have been reported by residents. Many automobile accidents and a helicopter crash have happened near the mines, adding to the horrific atmosphere of the area.

Pune's Shaniwar Wada: This magnificent house was erected in the 18th century by Bajirao I, who served as Peshwa under Maratha ruler Chhatrapati Sahu. Apart from being a popular tourist site, this home is also one of the most terrifying places in the country. According to the narrative, Peshwa was mercilessly murdered by Raghunath Rao's guards. He wandered around the fort, pleading with his uncle for assistance. His ghost continually visits the location where he was killed and pleads for his uncle's assistance. Residents in the area have reported hearing his bawls on specific evenings.

What to wear on a blind date?
Having your friends match you up with eligible individuals in your neighborhood may be a fantastic method to meet them. But how do you decide what to wear? Many individuals are concerned about what they should dress for a blind date. First impressions are really important. Finding clothing that flatter you, show a little about your personality, and project a good image may be a great place to start.
A research published in Social Psychological and Personality Science discovered evidence that a single glance at someone for 33 to 100 milliseconds was enough to create a first impression, with character and personality judgments completed within 60 seconds. This is why it's critical to have your appearance reflect who you are and to project a pleasant mood, especially on a blind date.

The prospect of selecting an outfit may excite or frighten you. In either case, deciding what to wear while meeting someone for the first time might be difficult. There are also various dress codes for various venues, times of day, and sorts of meetings. While smart casual is typically the ideal option, there may be occasions when it isn't. So your first duty is to figure out where you'll be going and what you'll be doing. If you're going to a Christmas market in December, your outfit will be considerably different than what you'd wear to a black-tie dinner.

FOR MALES
You don't have to wear pricey designer clothing, but you should appear to have made an effort. Actions speak louder than words, and your physical appearance will create an impression on her as soon as she sees you. T-shirts might seem too casual, so match it with a nicer blazer type jacket or opt for a shirt.

Cool trainers are fine, but not the scruffy ones you use for jogging (if you're not sure which category yours belong in, keep it safe and wear shoes or boots). And, unless your first date is in a beach bar, avoid wearing shorts.

FOR FEMALES
Don't be tempted to dress in ways that make you feel uneasy. Your first priority should be comfort. You want to feel calm and pleased with your attire because blind dating can be a little nerve-racking. High heels might be a major cause in this case. If you're not used to them, teetering along might make you seem ridiculous.

If you want to seem more formal or seductive, choose wedges or little kitten heels. The same is true with short skirts. It will be quite inconvenient to continuously tug down something that is riding up. Also, keep an eye out for tights that sag or wrinkle around your ankles. Frequently changing them is another poor appearance that is also quite distracting for you.

What should you not wear on a blind date?
There are some fashion standards that apply to any situation, such as being clean and attractive. Don't drag your dirty laundry basket trousers out, and don't wear a soiled shirt. If you're constantly wrinkled and crumpled, invest in an iron.
That applies to every day, not just special events; if you do, your employer will be as relieved as your date. Clothes that aren't properly aired out after washing might develop a musty odour, so make sure you dry everything well and don't have an air of damp following you about, to which your nose has become immune.

1. Clothes that don't fit. If you're now too large or too little for it, get rid of it (preferably to a charity shop). It's not going to help your silhouette.

2. A sports tee/stripe. Unless you're going to a game and have heard they're rooting for the same team.

3. The slogan is the best. These are enjoyable and appropriate for subsequent dates, but you don't want it to be the focus of the first meeting (particularly if it's something controversial or potentially unpleasant).

4. Prints that cause vertigo. Have you ever felt dizzy after staring at a striped clothing for a long time? If your top is prone to cause nausea, don't wear it in a one-on-one situation.

5. Shoes are brand new. These should always be tried on ahead of time to see if they need to be accompanied with blister plasters. However, new-looking shoes are an excellent shout.

How to Look Naturally Beautiful Without Makeup

The top beauty trend in 2021 is "skinimalism." The caked-on cosmetics style has come to an end. According to Pinterest, skinimalism is all about minimising your makeup regimen to "allow your natural skin texture show through." Do you want to know how to get a natural makeup look? With Spring just around the horizon, this tendency is only going to get worse. How do we go about doing that? It all starts with beautiful skin. Here are 10 techniques for wearing minimal makeup or no makeup at all to achieve that desired natural glow.

1. PREP YOUR SKIN
Always use a natural cleanser on your face, such as Pure Fiji's Coconut Cleansing Balm. This is because a clean face is like a blank canvas. This one-of-a-kind cleaning balm-to-milk melts away all remnants of face and eye makeup, as well as pollutants, without leaving your skin dry! A waterless natural gel concentration with cleaning properties. Quillaja Saponaria, a natural soap extract, is mixed with the vitamin-rich purifying properties of Coconut, Dilo, and Moringa oils, leaving skin smooth, fresh, and nourished.

Warm a little quantity of balm between your palms and massage it into dry skin in circular motions. Add water and the balm will change to milk. Remove gently with a warm, wet cleaning cloth. After that, apply eye cream and serum.

2. MOISTURIZE
Even if you only use a small bit of concealer or foundation, it is critical to use a moisturising moisturiser, such as Pure Fiji's Vitamin C Brightening Creme with Hyaluronic and Lime Caviar. Doesn't that seem extremely opulent? Wait till you give it a shot!

This potent combination of pure Vitamin C and lime caviar, as well as skin-smoothing peptides, will brighten any dry, dull skin. Fresh garden sprout extracts reduce age spots and discoloration. Kakadu plum and pure Vitamin C dramatically brighten skin and minimise symptoms of ageing, while moisture-boosting hyaluronic acid and our cold-pressed oil mix provide extreme hydration and skin barrier protection for radiant skin.

3. CLEAN UP YOUR BROWS
A well groomed and sculpted brow may help frame your face. If you need to fill in your brows, apply delicate strokes with a pencil, powder, or cream to help define them. These days, less is more, and simple, but defined brows are a requirement in minimum makeup looks.

4. DAB A LITTLE CONCEALER OR FOUNDATION
Most of the time, we don't need to use foundation to cover our full face. Instead, dab concealer or foundation on the blemished areas. To mix, simply pat your finger across the surface.

Did you know that Pure Fiji's Dilo Oil can help heal and minimise acne scars? After cleaning, apply a couple of drops to your face and follow with a day cr?me, serum, or night cr?me. Alternatively, mix a few drops into the cr?me and apply to your face.

5. EXFOILATE
Clean, polished skin is the foundation of the no-makeup look. If you have a hectic schedule, seek for products that can do several things, such as Pure Fiji's Papaya Purifying Enzyme Masque. This masque gently exfoliates dry skin cells to reveal younger-looking skin.

6. USE THE POWER OF 5 OILS
Use Pure Fiji's Hydrate and Nourish Luxury Face Oil as a cheekbone highlighter for a natural shine. Pure Fiji's unique botanical combination of organic cold-pressed oils, Coconut, Macadamia, Sikeci, Dilo, and Moringa oil, gives you the Power of 5. This anti-aging oil combination is packed with antioxidants, vital fatty acids, and vitamins that hydrate, nourish, and smooth skin while restoring brightness and leaving skin with a young shine.

Simply apply a tiny quantity of oil on your cheekbones, brow bone, bridge of your nose, and cupid's bow. You'll notice an immediate shine!

7. GET YOUR BEAUTY SLEEP
There is no substitute for a good night's sleep, whether you use cosmetics or not. Because your body heals itself at night, it is critical that you obtain at least 6-8 hours of excellent sleep every night. Do you charge your phone? The same is true for your body.

SUMMARY
The decade's main beauty trend incorporates very little (if any) makeup. A natural appearance not only enables your true personality to come through, but it also allows your skin to breathe...which is always a good thing. Let's be honest, we've never seen a more gorgeous woman than one with naked skin and a wide smile?talk about a natural, healthy glow. Bottom line: By adding Pure Fiji's natural skin care products into your daily skin care regimen, you'll be well on your way to appearing naturally beautiful without makeup. Hello, luminous Spring skin!

OLD IS GOLD
India has a diverse and rich textile tradition. Every 80-100 kilometers, the languages and dialects, cuisine, and culture change. Every area of India has its own set of traditional clothes and accessories. Because old is gold, each area has a unique perspective on fashion, making its fashion as diverse as the country's culture and customs. Fashion in India is not just limited to the country's borders, but a perfect touch of western culture can also be seen in the country's established and some undeveloped towns, and all of this has been done solely by the Indian Film Industry-"Bollywood."

When quarantine struck and people were pushed into a period of uncertainty, others began to reflect about decades when life was more rock and roll.
Looking at fashion, social media, and streaming services, it is clear that the popularity of earlier decades' styles has made a reappearance in today's society.
Fashion and media brought to life nostalgia for a time and place that some generations never experienced.
From mom jeans to "Back to the Future," there was a significant increase in content previously seen during the months of lock down.

Bollywood fashion statements that reached their pinnacle Old is Gold in the 1960s and 1970s has been making an intermittent reappearance. Whether it's the ubiquitous Anarkali Suits from Mughal-e-Azam or Sadhana's blunt-cut bangs, Sadhana has become a fashion symbol for the modern Indian girl with her blunt fringes. Sadhana cut is the name given to this haircut. The 1960s fashion craze is making a strong comeback. The flared pants known as bell-bottoms or palazzos popularized by Neetu Singh; these wide-legged, high-waist trousers were once again in demand. Polka prints, often known as Bobby prints after the film Bobby. They have been popular for a long time and appear to be here to stay.

India has an old garment design heritage as well as a burgeoning fashion business. There were only a few designers before the 1980s, but the late 1980s and 1990s saw significant expansion. This was due to increasing exposure to global fashion and the economic boom that followed India's economic liberalization.

Here are some fashion trends that were popular at the time and are making a comeback in 2020.

Mom's jeans
Do you recall this from the 1990s? These were a pair of loose-fitting jeans with a high waist and loosely hanging towards the ankle length. They looked great back then, and they still today.

Silk scarves
Silk scarves are perfect for adding a touch of refinement and romance to any outfit. Wrap it around your neck and combine it with a feminine blouse and stylish eye wear. You will rule the planet as though no one else existed. It also adds a touch of the past to the present.

Cargo Pants
Cargo pants are no longer a popular men's clothing trend. Sim-fit cargo trousers are trendy, and they look great with white sneakers and graphic tees. What about wearing this amazing attire to college?

Flared pants
Flared pants have found their way into the modern age after being worn with a body fit shirt by Mumtaz in the 1980s. How can we forget Karina Kapoor in "you're my Sonia" dancing in red hot flared pants? Simply match it with a kurti or crop top and you're set.

Puffy sleeves
Puffy sleeves may be paired with a high waist short skirt to replicate the look of the 1990s while making it more elegant and classy for the twenty-first century. You may even dress up in a lovely gown with puffy sleeves and go for a stroll around your favorite restaurant.

Bike shorts
These shorts were popular in the 1980s, 1990s, and currently in the twenty-first century, and can be seen on a variety of celebrities wearing them with a mixture of over-sized sweaters or blazers.

8 Easy Ways to Look Stylish

In this day and age of yoga pants, appearing attractive may seem like an unnecessary effort, but don't underestimate the power of fashion. Dressing fashionably demonstrates respect for yourself and those around you, demonstrating that you care enough to make an effort.
Many individuals make the mistake of conflating stylish with fashionable or fancy. This is incorrect! Being fashionable is as much about how you conduct yourself as it is about the things you wear.
Continue reading for some simple methods you may do to quickly seem more fashionable and confident!

Photo by Brooke Cagle on Unsplash

1. Make Sure The Clothes Fit
Wearing clothes that fit and flatter your body type enhances your style immediately.

Experiment with different forms and fits to determine which one flatters your body type the best. To avoid odd shapes, make sure women's clothes fit appropriately around the breast, waist, hips, and ankles. Make sure your shirts' shoulders touch your real shoulders, and wear more fitting pants.

2. Stick With Classics
Many people mistake ?stylish? with ?fashionable,? yet trends come and go in the blink of an eye.

Ignore gimmicky fads and instead focus on classic, timeless designs and closet staples that will survive several seasons rather from falling out of style in a year. Begin with the LBD, some basic flats, and a classic blazer. Suits, blazers, clean button-downs, and a pair of brown shoes are appropriate for guys.

3. Fabric Is Everything
We've all felt the draw of "fast-fashion" retailers like H&M, Forever 21, and Target. The racks of 2-for-1 bargains beg for our attention and money. However, there is a reason why such garments are so cheap; businesses frequently make shortcuts on fabric quality while producing clothing.

Invest in some more expensive but higher quality things for maximum style. Cotton, linen, and crepes are ideal for summer, while wools and cashmeres are ideal for winter. Also, get some high-quality jeans that will not fade or droop with time. These little changes will go a long way toward making you look more beautiful and sophisticated.

4. Have Good Grooming
?Cleanliness is the cornerstone of beauty,? as my grandma constantly says, and she's right! No matter how amazing your dress is, if your hair is oily or your nails are ragged, you will not exude the confident, fashionable feelings you desire.

Some ladies like getting regular facials or having their nails done. Some men like splurging on a beautiful haircut. Perhaps you should invest in some fantastic hair extensions. By taking care to personal hygiene, you show the rest of the world that you are striving to be the best you can be.

5. Learn To Accessorize
Assume you could only wear a black shirt and pants for a week. How many various kinds of accessories could you come up with to dress up the outfit? Jackets, shoes, jewellery, purses, scarves, and caps are all on the menu. When the rest of your wardrobe is understated, accessories add a welcome burst of individuality without being overpowering. Learning how to add interest to an outfit with accessories will help you appear more put-together and attractive. Men, don't be afraid of accessories! A stylish wristwatch or hat is an excellent place to begin.

6. Overdress
Dressing for social occasions is about your host as much as it is about you. Showing up underdressed may come out as disrespectful or apathetic; after all, others around you made an attempt to appear good, so why shouldn't you reciprocate?

Being a little overdressed communicates to others around you that you take yourself and the occasion seriously. Being well-dressed gives you greater confidence, which makes you more fashionable.

7. Plan Your Outfits
Choosing what to wear in the morning is a difficult aspect of appearing attractive. Perhaps you're still drowsy and sluggish, or you're struggling to find inspiration in a hurry. In either case, planning your clothing the night before is an easy approach.

Take a look at the weather and your schedule for the next day and choose something that works for you. Choose a few accessories, arrange your shoes, and you're done! You can get dressed quickly the next morning and yet look great.

8. Get Inspiration
Finally, being fashionable is a personal adventure. Follow some stylish Instagram accounts or conduct some internet research to uncover fashions and clothing ideas that you like and feel secure in. Learning your own tastes is an important aspect of developing self-confidence, and it will leave you appearing like the most fashionable person in the room no matter where you go!

Dress classy and sassy!!!!
Putting together sophisticated clothes entails combining key aspects while also ensuring that your style and confidence shine through. So, if you're ready to experiment with a new classy style and find out how to dress classy, let's get started. Here are a few pointers to help you seem elegant.

Wear products manufactured of classic materials.
What you should be searching for to add to your core wardrobe is classic, timeless clothes made of fabrics that will last well into the following decade. Cotton, wool, linen, and silk are all examples of natural fibers. These textiles come in a variety of colors, allowing you to expand your wardrobe.

Denim is one example of a cotton fabric that can be worn in a variety of styles, from street to boho to minimalist. Likewise, chino cotton looks great in slacks, blazers, and even moto jackets. Then there's cashmere, a sort of wool that feels wonderful on the skin and doesn't pill over time. Cashmere sweaters, whether cardigans, V-necks, or crew neck pullovers, look great with denim jeans, tailored pants, and skirts.

Wear solid neutrals if in doubt.
Bold patterns and designs can undoubtedly work in a sophisticated and fine look, but if you are just starting your classy style diary, you may not be comfortable with such patterns. In this instance, neutrals are your best friend. Solids are widely available in retailers, are readily matched, and can help you broaden your wardrobe. White/beige/cream, navy blue, black, and grey are common neutrals. Don't assume you have to wear black from head to toe.

Fit the key
Clothing that is classy and sophisticated is usually tailored and form-fitting. Skirts and dresses should be worn just above or below the knee. Straight, somewhat wide, faintly bootcut, or menswear-inspired trousers should be 12-inch from the floor in the rear. Wide-leg and slender pants in classic fabrics, as well as ankle pants, are suitable. Blazers, blouses, and sweaters should fit snugly around your waist. Do not be afraid to take items to a local seamstress or tailor to get them changed to suit properly.

Never overexpose
Collars, boat necks, crew necks, and V-necks are the most common necklines. You can also try square, cowl, and scoop necks for some variety. Asymmetrical, sweetheart, and halter necklines are also appropriate for more formal settings. In any case, keep your cleavage and belly button covered. Furthermore, armholes on blouses and dresses should not expose your breast.

Wear Black
Black is always elegant and never goes out of style. Isn't it true that when we think of black, we think of Coco Chanel? Black is a versatile neutral that goes with everything. When you're not sure what to wear, invest in black suits, pants, shoes, and bags that will go with anything.

Layering
Jackets, blazers, and coats will become your best buddy. Invest in some high-quality, well-fitting outerwear that will last a long time and go with everything and in all seasons. Blazers quickly lend a sophisticated touch to any look and can be worn with anything from dresses to skirts to denim. Color-coordinated blazer pants and blazer skirt combinations appear quite sophisticated.

THINGS TO AVOID
Avoid doing too much at once. A loud dress, bold jewellery, and too much colour all at once. Keep the rest of your attire as simple as feasible.
Stay away from being a walking billboard. Wearing a Gucci belt, an LV bag, Chanel sunglasses, and a Burberry scarf will make you look like a billboard. Make one of your pieces a statement brand piece and build your ensemble around it.
Don't be swayed by fashion. Trends come and go, but classy style is something that is always in vogue, which is why it is termed classic. It's a personal style; don't fall for whatever is hot this season because it will change every six months.
Excessive skin exposure. Wearing a revealing clothing or exposing too much skin is not considered classy. An LBD or slip dress wrapped with a coat/blazer appears more sophisticated than bare skin.
