  How Yoga Helps in Weight Gain -If you practice or have knowledge about yoga, then you must know about the physical benefits of yoga.  Today the whole world is adopting this knowledge which has been going on since ancient times.  Yoga has been considered the key to mental and physical health.  Yoga increases the flow of energy in the body and purifies the body internally.  Treatment of any problem related to the body is possible by yoga, but for this you have to do regular yoga practice and control the diet. Yoga can not only reduce obesity but also increase weight.  If you are a victim of underweight, then you can take the help of yoga asanas.  There are many such activities of yoga, which will work to gain weight quickly.  These compound actions will increase your appetite, which will also increase body mass.  We will tell about some such yogasanas, which will work to fix your low weight.

  Yoga for Weight Gain -
 Yoga not only increases your body mass index (BMI), but also strengthens the immune system, muscles and bones.  One thing that needs to be understood seriously in relation to yoga is that the breath is very important in every yoga asana.  On taking a long deep breath, the belly should inflate like a balloon and on exhaling it should go in like a balloon without air.


 1. Bhujangasana -


 How is it profitable?
 You can do Bhujangasana to get rid of the problem of underweight.  This asana directly works on the digestive system, which improves appetite.  Apart from this, by doing this asana, metabolism remains fine and breathing improves.

 How to do :
 First of all lie down on your stomach.
 Reduce the distance between the legs and keep the legs straight.
 Now bring your palms in line with the shoulders.
Now while inhaling, raise the body from the chest to the navel.
 Remain in this position for a few seconds and slowly inhale and exhale.
 Then while exhaling deeply, come down to the starting position.
 In this way you will complete one cycle.
 In the beginning, you can do this yoga asana four to five times.
 Practice regularly and increase the number of cycles.

 2. Vajrasana -

 How is it profitable?
 This is the only asana that can be practiced immediately after a meal.  This asana directly works on the digestive system and works to control metabolism.  Apart from this, this asana also calms the mind.  You can practice Vajrasana to fix the problem of underweight.

 How to do :
 First of all, sit with your legs spread on the ground.
 Bend the right leg at the knee and place it under the right hip.
 Similarly bend the left leg and place it under your left hip.
 Now bring the buttocks in between the ankles.
 Place your hands on your knees and keep your spine straight.
 Continue the process of inhaling and exhaling and try to remain calm.
 To come to the first position, bring your right foot forward and then the left.

 3. Surya Namaskar -

 How is it profitable?
 You can practice Surya Namaskar to get rid of the problem of underweight.  Surya Namaskar is called a group of asanas, which includes 12 postures and you have to do them one after the other.  All these asanas work together to keep the digestive system, heart health, nervous system and muscles healthy.  You can take the help of Surya Namaskar to balance the decreasing weight.  This asana also works to strengthen the immune system, which will improve your appetite and increase your BMI.

 4. Pawanmuktasana -

 How is it profitable?
 You can also practice this asana to get relief from underweight.  This asana works well on the digestive system and controls it.  Pawanmuktasana works to calm the overactive metabolism.  Apart from this, this asana also helps in better absorption of nutrients by the body.  To increase the weight of the underweight body, you must do regular practice of this asana.


 How to do :
 For this asana, first of all lie down on your back.  Keep in mind that your hands should be adjacent to the body.
 Now take a deep breath and bend the right leg.  Now hold your knees with both your hands and try to touch them to your chest.
 Now while exhaling you have to raise the head and touch the knee to the nose.
 Stay in this position for a few seconds.
 Now while exhaling, bring your legs and head to the starting position.
 After the process of the right leg is completed, do this asana with the left and then both the legs together.
 You can do this asana four to five times.


 5. Matsyasana -

 How is it profitable?
 Matsyasana is a very beneficial yoga pose for weight gain.  This asana works on several systems including the thyroid gland.  Thyroid gland can cause weight loss and this asana works to control this gland.  Apart from this, this asana helps in maintaining digestive system and metabolism as well as heart health.  You can increase your low weight by practicing this asana regularly.

 How to do :
 First of all sit in Padmasana.
 Now slowly start leaning back and lie down on your back.
 Now you have to hold the left foot with your right hand and the right foot with your left hand.

 Now keep both the elbows on the ground and keep the knees close to the ground.
 Now while inhaling, move the head backwards as much as possible.
 In this state, breathe in slowly and release slowly.
 Now take a deep breath and come to the starting position.
 Do this cycle four to five times.

 6. Sarvangasana -
 How is it profitable?
 Sarvangasana is an effective posture to improve circulation of blood and oxygen.  The circulation of blood promotes nutrients in the body, thereby nourishing all the organs of the body.  You can practice this asana regularly for energy and strength in the body.

 How to do :
 First of all, lie down on your back and keep both hands near the thighs.

 Slowly raise the legs up to 90 degrees.
 Support the buttocks with the help of palms.
 Straighten the body in such a way that the chin touches your chest.
 Stay in this posture for some time and then slowly come back to the starting position.

 7. Dhanurasana -
 How is it profitable?
 Dhanurasana is an effective abdominal asana, which can work to improve the digestive system including constipation.  This asana can also relieve you from thyroid, which can cause the body to be underweight.  You can practice this asana regularly for the absorption of nutrients in the body.

 How to do :
 Lie down on your stomach.
 Now bend the knees and hold the ankles firmly with your hands.
 Now while inhaling, lift your head, chest and thigh upwards.
 Keep in mind that in this posture the shape of your body should look like a bow.
 Stay in this posture according to the capacity and continue the process of inhaling and exhaling slowly.
 To come to the starting position, come down while exhaling deeply.
 You can do this asana four to five times.

 8. Chakrasana -

 How is it profitable?
 Chakrasana is an asana done on the back, which benefits the body in many ways.  This asana works effectively on the digestive system, so that the work of food intake and evacuation goes smoothly.  To nourish the body, it is very important to have a strong Panchana system.  Apart from this, this asana also helps in blood circulation.

 How to do :
 First of all lie down on your back.
 Now slowly bend the knees and touch your ankles with the buttocks.
 Keep a distance of about 12 inches between your feet.
 Now raise your arms and bend the elbows.
 Bringing the palms above the head, place them on the ground.
 Now breathe in and slowly try to bend the back while raising the head.
 Stretch your arms and legs.
 Continue the process of inhaling and exhaling slowly.
 Stay in this posture for some time.  Then slowly bring the body down to come to the starting position and lie down.
 You can do this asana five to six times.
 9. Headstand -
 How is it profitable?
 Headstand is very beneficial.  The number of benefits to be told are few.  It works to greatly benefit the thyroid, which can cause weight gain.  This asana also works to control blood circulation and metabolism.  You can practice this asana daily to control body weight.

 How to do :
 For this asana, first of all sit on a yoga mat.
 Now entangle the fingers of both the hands and keep your head on the fingers while bending forward.
 Now move the legs up and try to straighten them.
 Keep in mind that in this posture you have to stand on your head.
 Stay in this position for some time and then slowly lower the legs while bending the knees.
 You can do this asana three to five times.

 10. Shavasana -
 How is it profitable?
 You can take the help of Shavasana to get rid of the problem of underweight.  It is an effective yoga practice, which directly works on the flow of blood and oxygen.  This asana helps in the circulation of blood and promotes nutrients in the body.  This gives energy to the body and makes the body strong.  This asana is done to give maximum relaxation to all the parts of the body.

 How to do :
 First of all lie down on your back.
 Keep your hands about one foot away from the body.
 The distance between the feet should be about 2 feet.
 The direction of the palms should be upwards.
 Now close your eyes and breathe in and out slowly.
 You can stay in this posture for about 15 to 20 minutes.
